Want to win $1,000 for your chapter treasury? How about one free registration to the next NAWBO Public Policy Days? You can, if your chapter wins both prizes in the first annual NAWBO PAC $100,000 Chapter Fundraising Challenge!
MEET THE CHALLENGE… WIN VALUABLE PRIZES!
First prize is a $1,000 check for your chapter sponsored by Jacqueline Vlaming, V.P./General Counsel of Coverall Cleaning Concepts, Inc., Boca Raton, FL. The FIRST chapter to get 100% of its members to donate to the PAC for a minimum combined donation of $2,500 wins! If you have 100 members, that’s only $25 per member! So get the word out and the personal checks coming in. You must be the first chapter to raise $2,500 in order to win $1,000.
Second prize is one free registration to NAWBO’s 2006 Public Policy Days for a member of your chapter. To win, be the chapter that raises the most contribution dollars, per capita, by December 31, 2005.
Here’s how it works:
- If chapter A has a membership of 100 and raises a total of $2,500, its per capita contribution is $25 per member. ($2,500/100=$25)
- If chapter B has 50 members and raises a total of $2,000, chapter B wins because its per capita contribution amounts to $40 per member. ($2,000/50=$40)
- $100,000 = A WHOLE LOT OF NOISE!
Your voice is important and in order for it to be heard on Capitol Hill, we need you to support the NAWBO PAC by raising the necessary funds to back candidates who advocate for NAWBO’s public policy issues. Just think…if every NAWBO member gave at least $25 (that’s about equal to your weekly addiction to coffee), we’d have $200,000. That is DOUBLE our goal and DOUBLE the noise you can make in Washington! It’s time to raise your voice and be heard! To learn how to contribute to the NAWBO PAC, please visit www.nawbo.org/pac.
