National Women’s Business Council Town Hall Meeting

NAWBO Houston invites you to participate in National Women’s Business Council Town Hall Meeting!
The National Women’s Business Council, a Washington D.C. based organization who is a bi-partisan federal government council, and serves as the only independent source of advice and counsel to the President, Congress and the U.S. Small Business Administration on economic issues of importance to women business owners, is holding a Town Hall Meeting for Women Business Owners in only three cities across the country in 2008.
Houston has been chosen as one of these three cities.

The Council will be holding this event on:
Date: Thursday, April 3, 2008
Place: JW Marriott – 5150 Westheimer; Houston, TX
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00p.m.
Cost: FREE to women business owners.

The seats are limited to around the first 200 women business owners that register, so this event will fill up quickly.

To Register: Visit www.nwbc.gov

For More Information: Call 202-205-3850 or email

The information they collect from us will be taken directly back to Washington to not only the current government officials, but also for the new administration that will follow.

This event is being supported and brought to the members of NAWBO through the teaming of several organizations, including the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and the Women’s Business Enterprise Alliance (WBEA). We invite you to join us as we endeavor to unite all women business owners of Houston under one voice that will carry to our nation’s capitol and make a difference in the creation of public policy impacting all women business owners across the country.

These are exciting times ahead of us, and now we have been given the opportunity to fully participate in the creation of our own future instead of playing the role of innocent by-standers. Please share this information with the women of your organizations and join us on April 3rd, as we have the opportunity to have one voice, not just one vote!
