Carrie Carter
Carrie Carter is the President of Disc, Inc. a data services firm that specializes in hard drive recovery, data and video conversions and CD/DVD/USB printing and duplication. Prior to joining Disc, Inc. in 2008, Carrie worked as the Director of Administration for the Turning Point, which provides substance abuse treatment for individuals in need. After working in the social services industry for 13+ years, Carrie was ready for a change. Her husband was already a minority partner in Disc, Inc., when the two decided to purchase the company and assume full ownership.
In her role as President, Carrie still spends much of her time helping others. In addition to NAWBO, she is actively involved in the Christian Networking Group and the Galleria Chamber of Commerce, where she volunteers her time to support the organizations and their members. Carrie has also been a volunteer with the Girl Scouts since 1993, where she devotes her spare time promoting the self-esteem girls need in order to become future business owners themselves.
