According to recent statistics, the number of self-employed women is increasing five times as fast as the number of self-employed men. The expected trend, that women business owners will continue to lead the growth of the small business community, is in full swing. Just as important, the survival rate of women-owned businesses, as well as their ability to grow in size and capability, is impressive.
Some of this success can be attributed to the opportunities for interaction, education and advocacy provided by NAWBO. More and more women business owners are discovering the value and benefits of being part of a growing organization that effectively represents their interests and concerns.
The NAWBO Greater Houston chapter corporate relations program builds upon the concept of joint ventures of partnerships in the design, development and distribution of programs, literature and materials for women business owners.
