Among my most cherished memories is the night in 1996 when I was named Woman Business Owner of the year by NAWBO, as well as the luncheons where I received the Community Service award in 1998 and 2003. To receive recognition from such an esteemed group is an amazing honor.
Over the 15 years I’ve been involved in NAWBO, the network of women business owners I’ve developed has been invaluable to me. Doors have been opened and relationships established that have been instrumental in the growth of my company.
My company is now ranked as the 36th Top Woman-Owned Business in the U.S. and the 4th Top Woman-Owned Business in Texas. From my offices in Austin, El Paso, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio, my long-tenured staff provides temporary and direct hire placement in the areas of Accounting/Procurement, Administrative Support, Clerical, Convention Support, Engineering, HR, IT, Legal Support, Light Industrial, Sales/Marketing, TeleSkills/Call Centers. This year Burnett Staffing Specialists is celebrating our 35th anniversary helping careers and companies grow.
